Default Sway bars with lowering springs? or coilovers?

Hey everyone! So I just got a B5 as my first car and want to get to modding right away! so far I've only got an XSPower exhaust on it and are now moving onto suspension, basically my main goal is to lower it about an inch and get a firmer ride and i was thinking Sway bars and lowering springs? or just coilovers? what do you guys think/recommend? Thanks!

if your looking for an inch just get springs and a stif sway. if you wanty adjustability get coils.

What coilovers? I was looking at ST performance because I've heard mixed reviews about vmaxx/Raceland

If you're getting coils go ST at the very least, anything cheaper will be decent at best in the short term and horrendous in the long term. There's a reason they cost less than half as much as everything else.

If you do go with lowering springs make sure to get some aftermarket struts too. Those springs will kill your stock struts.
