Terry, we can do the dual mod at my house in 10 minutes. Your call on getting LEDs to use. And check the DIY subforum on audizine.com or Audiforums.com - the procedure is there with pics to indie-mod the fogs. Emil did his and it looks great.

 

Jeremy, good ****. What size bulb do I buy? Or, where can I find that information?

 

Pull the top bulb in the driver side tail. Use that type. If it's some weird one I think a 2057 works.

am i wrong or does that mod pretty much make them jetta taillights?

 

I'm on my second oem passenger's side taillight and both of them came with fog lights. not sure if that's an avant thing or not? I've thought about removing it so I could have only one again so it doesn't look like I'm braking if I ever use them, which I never do anyway. I wish someone would just tap my rear bumper so I could finally end up with a dentless one. this mod ftl

 

i drilled out the second hole for my second fog light yesterday and i think it looks way better! i see B8's all the time with dual fogs in the back so im sure its not a legal issue. just makes you way more visible in the elements i am going to wire them up to my brake lights today to see how they look. if i dont like them im happy with the dual fog light mod
