Depends on how you want to go about it. $200ish for lowering springs. $700ish for stuts/springs. $1000ish for coil overs.

Those are the ugliest rear lights I've EVER seen. Thank god you have the stock ones in the trunk.

Yeah, they are the worst altezas ive ever seen. They sort of bubble out at the sides making them extra ugly. I came to find out that the stock tails in the trunk are one side from the car (97 tail) and the other side is a 99+ facelift tail. They will be up for sale if anyone is interested, along with the altezas.
So a funny story... My wife had no idea i was pulling the trigger on this today. She just sort of agreed to it while half assleep last night... So she pulls up in the driveway next to it, gets out, takes a good look at it and thinks nothing of it. I said "are you blind?" and so she went and had a better look, turned around with a smile and said "whatever." I LOVE IT!

You can't snap that input shaft, if he did you would know about it.
The worst you could do to it is shear off the gear teeth like mike hood did, but he of course has insane power.
Im still sticking with the clutch is toast.

Thanks for the reassurance. Shifting is notchy as hell, and it doesnt seem to go into reverse (its the push down type). I might consider doing the synchros as well. I'd hate to get it all back together w/ a new clutch and still be unhappy with shifting and chance it still not going into reverse. What do you think?
