Thanks guys Kayakman, I agree that they usually do donk the cars but often when I've seen pics of a B5 with 19s, it's been a car that is at stock ride height and which has unpainted lowers. That combo makes it look ridiculous. I think that since I'm lowered and have painted lowers, the body is both actually (from the coilovers) and apparently (from the painted lower trim) closer to the ground, which settles the car down over the wheels and helps it look right...at least in the front. I'll drop the back to match.

As for rubbing, I have a feeling that it's just gonna be a fact of life. Oh well. Not like I'm the first one to deal with it.

I agree I do have to get some additional hardware as mentioned above but that's very minor (maybe $100 or so total) and in now way diminishes the value of the sale to me. Now if this damn weather would just clear up...

Funny how all the quattro owners up north were all excited a few months ago that the snow finally came and they could play, and here we are a few months later, and everyone wants spring to arrive to show off the winter projects.

Funny thing is, it snowed here in Kansas, a lot more than usual, the day AFTER I deployed, and it all melted before I came home on leave!

Lol thanks bro Brad, maybe I'm the exception, but I like quattro for how it keeps the car shiny-side-up when the weather blows, but I couldn't care less about snow drifting. Couple years ago it cost me my driver lowers. I bitch and whine until the snow melts On the other hand, Hiwords cries when the sun brings the mercury above freezing.
