Are these inflated repair prices?
So I just moved to New Mexico and I have some money saved up still so I wanted to fix up my B5 A4. I had my oil change (since I drove from Washington) and asked them to do an inspection. I already know I had an oil like and that I haven't done miles maintenance. Yes, I'm a terrible person, I know. But what I don't get are the prices they gave me for the repairs and I'd like to know if these are reasonable prices or if they're being inflated. They even said it'd take six days for the tire to arrive if I got the same tires. On their bill those tires are 950. When I originally bought them they were around 500 for all four. Which brings me to these forums.
Here's what they gave me:
Valve cam and cam seals leaking oil: 731
W1 (?) timing belt: 854
4 tires: 950
Wiper blades: 54
Upper link bushings torn: 679
Fender lines and front spoiler: 695
Now I understand certain parts on cars aren't cheap and that it probably doubly applies to Audis. But after seeing 950 for tires and 54 for wiper blades, I thought I'd try to see what people who actually know things about cars thought. Are these normal prices? I'm about to start googling around for local shops that work on imports (I miss that guy I used to go to in Jacksonville ;\), but I'd like someone to tell me if I'm just freaking out and whining for no reason.
edit: sorry, it's a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro

Timing Belt is a great price (does it include parts & are they going to change to water pump, thermostat, idle pulley & tension pulley along with the TB?)
4 tires is like $600 MAX with balance & alignment
Everything else is a bit high
Okay, thanks. I'll try to see if some local mechanic does Audis cause, yeah, it was a Dealership. I'm new here in Albuquerque so didn't know where to check. Thanks for the help.
And I don't know how to do any of this so I have to find someone else to. Either that or just end up trading the car in for a horrible price.

i would literally do everything on that list for $1500 and have it done in a couple days myself, except for the tires of course, but id put them on. in my opinion those prices are very high. 54 for wiper blades? are you ******* kidding me?
Exactly. $9 each at freakin Walmart and you install them in the parking lot. Never go to a dealer for tires. Ask a tire shop for quotes on particular tires including mount and balance. Price those tires yourself online. $16 each mount/balance at Sears and you can bring your own tires in for them to do it.
