Thinking about lowering my 2001 audi a4 2.8 quattro

whats the best bang for your buck way of doing this, for a not so wealthy college student?

Lowering springs or go with Vmaxx coilovers, a steal at around $600 for the set. PM "ImTheDevil", he has a set on his A4 and maybe he can give you some suggestions.
