Default For those who have replaced thier rear bearings

Im replacing the my rear bearings and am currently hung up on how to separate the lower left control arm (on the rear passenger side) and the lower right control arm (on the rear drivers side). I am able to get the nut off but i cant for the life of me get the spindle assembly separated from that control arm and the bolt that runs through them. I have hammered the control arm, the bolt itself, and the spindle assembly and can get it off.

I attempted to attatch a pic of the connection im talking about. What is the trick to getting this control arm off without damaging something. Thanks

You guys think a ball joint separator might work??? Ill give that a try tomorrow...

I actually had to cut it off with a grinder and hammer out the remains. It's called a rear tie rod assembly, I ordered it new from www.germanautoparts.com and replaced it. Good luck
