Has anyone put three way speakers up front in a B5?

I have a set of 13cm Pioneer 2 way components to fit - there is no separate crossover as the tweeter has an inline filter.

I have a set of damaged Pioneer 3 way speakers that have a mid unit about 2cm diameter with its own capacitor attached.

I was thinking of canibalising the old speaker and having the mid in the location for the factory tweeter and fitting the Pioneer tweeters on in the corner of the door window where a manual wing mirror adjustor might be fitted?

I have three ways in there, but there's no crossovers on them. Both of my front speakers were blown out when I bought the car and in that size, at the amount of money I wanted to pay, all you can get is three ways lol
