my tip is out and need to fix the magnet chip combo under the shifter
is there any other place to go besides the dealer?

 

It sounds like the same problem I have, I was trying to get my interior extra clean a few months ago and knocked the ribbed plastic out of place where you slide the shifter over to go into tiptronic mode. After I got it back in place, the tiptronic mode didn't work anymore. I'd like to know how to fix this too, although since I never really use the tiptronic, its not a big deal to me. I'd just like to get it fixed in case I want to sell the car someday.
