You would want to power them separately from the OEM fogs in the headlamp housings though since if you tapped the factory wires to power a second set of fogs, you'd likely exceed the rating of the fuse. I wouldn't up the fuse to a higher amperage either because you risk exceeding the power rating of the individual lamps and could damage them. Put a second OEM fog switch into a switch blank spot for them or mount one beneath the dash and you'd be fine, as long as the power for each set was kept separate.
My thinking exactly.. would allow the lowers to be on seperately too.

Looks great man. Can hardly wait for mine to come in now. Always get sick of ruining my light when I need the fogs.

Yep, I look at it now and think that using the halogens looked crappy by comparison. When they come in, if you can free the time, come on down and we can install them. I still have Yuengs in the fridge and maybe we can do some more CF too lol. Keith is installing his 3000k kit tonight or tomorrow. Gotta get yours going too.

How's the new job?

^^ I would really love to do this mod, probably my most wanted, but the diy includes soldering and all that stuff i'm not good at so im a little gun-shy.

You might be able to have sn electronics shop do the soldering for you - it doesn't hurt to ask.

Looking good!

I'm actually running 4300K on my fogs. It actually does help with the lighting at night.

Haven't seen your car in a while, it's looking better and better.

Looks great. I have the stock Xenons, and the regular fogs, how do I go about upgrading them to match?

My fogs are permanently on if the ingnition is on. I just push the button a bunch of times and they stay on all the time.

Happened one time when i was turning the car off when i pushed the fog light button and they came on the next time as soon as i turned the ignition on.

Sorry to be a little OT but has anyone else had this happen?

The HID retrofit is pretty easy. Order the color temperature of your choice in an H7 bulb style, and drill out the back of the fog housing so you can run all the cabling, then just mount them up, mount the ballasts, and plug it all in.
