96 a4 b5 quattro 5 spd automatic.
I have a whine that resembles a bad power steering pump, significantly louder at top end of gear ( higher rpm)
had the noise, flushed out tranny, new filter, pentosin fluid, qualified audi tech, bla bla bla. still there. Oh Audi guru's please enlighten me with your wisdom. Should I be worried.
No shifting issues at all, not even when I floor it
does not occur unless car is in gear and accelerating

I'm guessing its not long for life if I don't pull it, is there such a thing as a rebuild kit?
