Default SLight Whine from tranny

This just started happening a bit ago and I figured I would look into it especially since I will be adding additional stress to it here pretty soon with the bigger turbo.

Problem: Every so often when I am stopped and in drive the car makes a little bit of a whine noise that is coming from the tranny. If I shift into neutral then it goes away and everything else works great. It shifts a little hard every so often but it's VERY rare. Should I do a transmission fluid change?

Thanks for the help!

Josh

It is hard to see your car info in the picture, but you look like a 99.5.

Yes I would suggest a fluid change with OEM fluid. You might even consider dropping the pan and doing a full change and changing the filter.
