Truble in 3rd gear
So I was just driving my 1997 Audi a4 1.8T and it seemed like while I was in 3rd gear it wouldn't let me rev past 3,000 RPM even if i was flooring it and then right before I got to 3,000 RPM it would start to jiggle. It happens on fourth too sometimes. Can't take the car past 75
Any advice anyone??

Does your ECU have any fault codes? Your check engine light doesn't have to be on for the ECU to have a fault code.
This could be a number of things. Most likely (in no particular order): MAF, boost leak, misfiring (bad spark plugs, coil pack, and/or ICM). In some cases it's possible even to be a clogged catalytic converter.
