trubo only pushing 5psi
thanks for the offer ill let you know for sure. man audi guys are nice compared to the honda guys lol 9 years in the honda game and no one out of the blue ever offered to send a part to help me out lol
2 ways you can check it with it out of the car.
1st way
Plug the vac nipple and try pushing the valve upward from the bottom tube.
If it doesn't move then it is good.
2nd way
Use a vacuum pump or your mount to see if the valve opens when vacuum is applied to the valve from the vac nipple. If the valve opens under vacuum then the valve is good.

im boosting 6 psi, before/after an aftermarket exhaust manifold was installed with a test pipe... i dont hav any programming but i hav noticed that in stock form i was idling at 14-16" Hg and then after the exhaust manifold swap i was idling at 18-20" Hg.
Your boost seems a bit low for having a 01 which boosts 11-12psi stock.
alright mike i did the first test u said and when i plugged it got hard but still when up instead of being soft like when it wasn't plugged p.s i hate the original audi couplings they use with the little notches on them
