trubo only pushing 5psi

what are good billet dv valves i was reading that all oem ones break the same way after 30,000 miles my car has 130 so I'm guessing that's what it is

thanks for the offer ill let you know for sure. man audi guys are nice compared to the honda guys lol 9 years in the honda game and no one out of the blue ever offered to send a part to help me out lol

2 ways you can check it with it out of the car.

1st way
Plug the vac nipple and try pushing the valve upward from the bottom tube.
If it doesn't move then it is good.

2nd way
Use a vacuum pump or your mount to see if the valve opens when vacuum is applied to the valve from the vac nipple. If the valve opens under vacuum then the valve is good.

im boosting 6 psi, before/after an aftermarket exhaust manifold was installed with a test pipe... i dont hav any programming but i hav noticed that in stock form i was idling at 14-16" Hg and then after the exhaust manifold swap i was idling at 18-20" Hg.

thanks guys I'm going to check the vacuum lines for any cracks or rips and I'm going to remove the dv and plug the vacuum nipple and press up on the piston to see whats the issue thanks guys

Your boost seems a bit low for having a 01 which boosts 11-12psi stock.

alright mike i did the first test u said and when i plugged it got hard but still when up instead of being soft like when it wasn't plugged p.s i hate the original audi couplings they use with the little notches on them
