trubo only pushing 5psi
OK, after skimming through this thread I'm fairly certain my boost gauge is rigged up wrong or something. I didn't install it, the kid before me did, nor have I done a single thing to the car since I bought it. He said all it had done was that boost gauge and a chip. But anyways, my boost gauge tops out at 18 when I floor it to 6000 rpms, is that normal?

I'm not sure how you could rig up a boost gauge incorrectly though. Tap a vacuum line and supply power if necesary. Thats it. What gauge do you have?
alright guys so i re did the boost leak test check for any holes on the charge pipes and around the TB and no hole, i did notice some oil on the inside of the TB, and everything was negative. I installed the boost gauge and made sure there where no kink/pinch's in the line and took it for a number of test pulls all max out at 5psi sometimes spiking at 6 and after 6k boost goes down to zero on the gauge, at idle the car vacuums at 22. i also heard a weird clicking noise coming from the passenger side almost sounds like lifter noise but after the car gets warm it goes away like MAGIC
I don't, you're in limp mode.
I had my own experience with limp mode after I installed my 007. I put a shim in the DV to increase the spring pressure a little, however I installed the shim on top of the spring blocking the vacuum port = limp mode.
As soon as I put the shim on the bottom of the spring like it should be, problem was solved.
Not one of my smartest moments.

No. The stock turbo should not be pushing 18psi at 6000rpm. The few times I go all the way to 6k my boost has dropped to somewhere between 5-10psi. Anything past ~5k or so and boost is decreasing.
