trubo only pushing 5psi
no cel code most of the lines are new except for the fpr hose looks old as **** lol
i just fully installed the gauge kit today and i made sure there wher't any kinks or pinches on the line. it was a direct line and T it off about 3 inches away from the nipple off the manifold, and that vac line is connected to the DV
See? Look at all the responses!
What kind of DV is it and when did you install it?
When I installed my 007 I put in one of the spring spacers, however I put the spacer on top of the spring which blocked the vacuum port and put me into limp mode.
Stupid (and potentially damaging) mistake, simple fix.

Lol. Well, replace it then. What is it like 4" long? If you're still in limp mode after installing your new DV, the last place to check is around the N75 and WG area. It wouldn't hurt to check it now even. If the lines from the turbo to the N75 and the N75 to the WG are good, then you might want to think about replacing the N75. It could be stuck open which is like having a boost gauge installed and having the boost turned down all the way.

Oh ok. Cool. If it does then you'll really love the power increase because 5lbs. feels so slow compared to stock.
ok guys got my shipment in from ecs and i installed the race n75 valve and now boost goes up to 9 almost ten is that what the valve is limited to or is my car still in limp mode and wont let the valve do its job ???? power wise feels the same eh just a little more top end.. oh yeah when i boost in first gear it doesn't go over 5 lb i prob need to reset the ecu who agrees

Hey Got_A4....got any updates to this thread? I'm experiencing similar problems as you describe here. I'll be making one of those boost leak detection tools tomorrow though.
I gotta get this things fixed and up for sale!
