any luck finding your problem yet?? i just installed my boost gauge tonight (didnt see what vacuum was) but my boost was hitting 6lbs consitantly from what i saw (too lazy to find a source of power for the light lol) so if six is normal... how is 5 limp mode?? u would think limp mode there would be no boost... only dropping one lb is just wierd

5psi is limp mode for stock because that is the rating of the WG actuator spring and when the car goes into limp the ECU sets the N75 to full open allowing all the pressure in the line from the turbo to the WG actuator. On a aftermarket chip/tune limp mode is 10psi because thats the signal that the ECU sends to the N75 to sit open.

Vacuum is measured in inches of mercury, inHg. ~2 inHg = 1 psi.

IIRC, my car idles around 23 inHg.
