Question Trying to decide on the right A4

I just put my Jeep Wrangler up for sale and am looking for a car that better suits my commute to college. I will most likely end up buying an A4 but I wanted to make sure I pick the right one. I was wondering if there is a big difference between the 4 cylinder turbo and the 6 cylinder. I am looking at a 2001 6 cylinder quattro with 93,000 miles in perfect condition for $6,100.00. Is this a good deal or should I be looking at turbos instead? I am more concerned with reliability than speed and am interested in what you guys have to say. Thanks.

ya the 2.8 is for you. i have a 01 2.8 5 speed and i've never had an engine or tranny problem in 2 years. that's a decent price for that car, i'd looking into it a little more. also check out the newbie guide, it has a lot of info on what you should look for

If u are thinking or reliability and commuting (low fuel consumption) i would buy a Toyota/Honda and NOT an Audi Quattro. I've had my high milage Audi for 4 years (1.9 TDi) and it has been good but nonetheless reading these forums I have a good one!
