it allows the wiring for the air bag and horn to spin with the steering wheel

i have a issue with my airbag light and horn and power isnt getting past this point wiring just befor it is still good as i can jump them and get the horn to work

but wire is no longer live afterwards im just looking for the name of it

 

I think its called a clock spring..it contains all the wires necessary to allow the systems on the steering wheel to work.

The wire winds up and down as the steering is turned from left to right, etc....
