AEM Universal ECU? I never heard of anyone using it. I think you should go with the pretty well-known companies to prevent any damages.
GIAC, APR, Revo, AWE are the main competitors in the market for ECU/chip. There's also SpeedTuning that offers the chip for much less. I believe couple of the guys here just had a group buy.

Thanks man.I was asking abut AEM because someone i know told me that it will be a better choice.i dont know much about ECU's all i want is a good ECU so i could be able to have a good tuning.im hopingto get 400 or 450 whp
Yeah I agree with these guys. I don't mean to flame you man, but my first impression says you are somewhat new to this tuning thing. Let me give you a quick intro:
Our cars are very tuning friendly, but that doesn't mean you can slap on a standalone ECU and make super power. Not only do ECUs cost BANK (~$2000+) they require so much time in a shop to fine tune the setup. You'll need to have something under that hood worth tuning. Stock these cars are good for a chip and then after that you'll need some more parts. As these guys said, best bang for your buck is a chip. GIAC is what I've read to be best for B5s. Dont quote me though. You'll see like 50 more horses and ft-lbs. for $300! Start there and lay down a bed of support. (i.e. suspension, brakes, gauges, intercoolers, injectors, intake, etc.) Do your research. Search this site, there are TONS of info on the big turbo setups you'll need for that power. Maybe you'll decide you dont want that headache after all. I know I don't want my Daily Driver in the garage every weekend, getting wrenched on to re-tune it.
