LOL, Chris@ Rstyle is the one that assembled my motor. He is one of the those people that has to have everything perfect. Great for the motor, not when you want the car back on the road. That S4 was there a few times i was there, but never had the hood up to look at it. Was on the dyno a few times when i was there also.

As for the setup, that actually is a great way to do it and kind of what i was thinking. May not be the best looking when you open the hood, but i rather have power. Plus running a single T4 35r would make for a great powerband and over 600awhp potential. A TS T4 HTA3586 would be an increadable setup. Would spool like a small T4 35r but would make another 100whp if not more (Dave Buschur did over 700awhp on his T3 open scroll gt3586r).

 

All that money on a turbo setup and it looks like he used a Turbo XS bypass valve... kinda cheaping out there. I could be wrong its hard to tell w/ it moving. Lol ya ok I take it back.

 

It does look like a 34mm. I have one also that i used on my last project. Its a good valve, but i still would of gone larger like a tial 50mm or a forge supersize 50mm bypass

 

I guess it all boils down to how strong the block is, as per boost...

 

hummmmmmmmm i made this thread to talk about the logistics of using a kit like the sts (rear mount turbo) on the 2.8. I KNEW threads about turbos on the 2.8 have been done before and it wasn't my intention to start another boring thread of that nature but to provide new evidence to the subject.

But i see people can't read my first sentence and begin throwing out accusations based on the title of the tread.

Anyone know the spec change on the LTFT and SHFT after turboing a 2.8?
