Turbo noise

I want to get that blow off valve noise on my 1.8t, is diverter valve really the best way to go? And anyone have a link on installing it properly?

my cuz has an hks ssqv and he loves it! no cel, no problems, running fine on his 01 a4 for over a year now. sounds great too... im jealous

You can get a hybrid type of BPV/BOV, they are designed to split the air so that a % can be rerouted and a % blown off. I used to run the GFB hybrid and then the GFB FX Stealth with no issues.
