Finished up today, started right up. Smoked like hell for about 5 minutes but it's fine now. It turns out my old factory turbo (200k miles, 100k chipped) wasn't in that bad shape but it did strt to make contact with the compressor housing in one small space. Really wasn't that bad of a job, now that I know the tricks I could probably do it in under 4 hours (hopefully I won't have to though lol).

In case you didn't know, that smoking is no big deal generally. Just burning off all the oil and crap that you got on the turbo, exhaust manifold, and exhaust during removal/install. If it persists after more than 20mins of driving, then I would start to worry lol.

I figured it wasn't a big deal, now I just gotta bleed my cooling system and maybe I will have heat for the first time in a year

When I went to bleed the system I discovered my passenger side nipple is broken. I also noticed just a stream of coolant coming through instead of the entire tube being filled, is this normal? (The heater was on full, but the car was still cold)

Took it for a drive today, something is seriously screwed up. Everytime I let off the gas in boost it violently rocks forward and feels like it misfires, it is also way over boosting. I think my diverter valve hose is pinched or something, which would cause the misfire as it would be running too lean. I'm hopeing it's not the wastegate.

Sounds like you didn't hook the N75 up properly. Do you have the long end in the TIP, the opposite side going to the waste gate, and the perpendicular port going to the compressor housing?

Yep, it is installed correctly. And I can't find a kink in the diverter valve hose so I'm at a lose why my car is so weird. If I stay out of boost it works perfectly

Yeah, definitely sounds like the wastegate isn't opening.
