Most likely the turn signal relay is bad, which is built into the hazard light switch. When mine went on me, initially the turn signals wouldn't work but the hazards still did, and within a day the hazards were dead too. It's a relatively inexpensive fix and it takes all of three minutes to swap it.

^Agreed, hazard switch. If that doesn't do it, you'll be looking at the column multi-function switch.

Definately the hazard button/relay. There is a DIY fix for it somewhere, but it's not an expensive part.

i just replaced it less than a year ago with a dealer part. thats kind of strange because the drivers side signal works, do u think it might be the actual turn stalk that is bad?? or just the relay button slowly breaking?

If that's the case, then it could be the combination switch on the column. More expensive and more of a pain to replace but not terribly so on either count. Strange though - most combi switch failures are headlight or cruise control problems, and most turn signal failures are the hazard switch/relay.
