Default turn signal dead

sup guys I have a 1999 A4 and recently the turn signal went dead. It doesn't blink anymore but the emergency button still works. I am thinking it is a fuse. where would the fuse box be? Any other suggestions?

it's still probably the relay(your hazard button and housing)My hazards still worked when my signals wouldn't.

Mine did too, for a few days, then the hazards died too. Change the hazard switch and you'll be in good shape.

the fuse box is behind the steering wheel facing the driver's door. if you open the door, you see a cover looking thing on the dash that's between the door and the dash. if you look at the bottom of that, you'll see a rectangular slot that you can stick a screw driver in a pry open. the relay is the hazard switch itself.

It's about a five-minute job if you have the radio release keys - you'll need them to release the radio from the dash. Once you slide it out, reach up and push on the bottom of the hazard switch and pop it loose from the dash. Then pull it out, unplug it, plug in the new one, snap it into place, and reseat the radio.

Hazard relay switch is about $30 at the dealer. It's a comparable price to anywhere else.

Sorry to tag onto this Topic,

My Turn or Hazards don't work so I assume its the fuse.

If so whats the fuse number if its behind the steering column cover and what rating should it be.

They failed on my way to work today. I dont have a drivers handbook.
