Turn signals arent working... Could it be anything OTHER than the switch??
So my turn signals have been very unreliable for the past year. Most of the time they dont work at all but sometimes Ill get lucky and get a blink or two out of them. Could it be anything other than the turn signal switch causing my problem?? I need to order this part ASAP and im gonna be pissed if i order the part, install it, and come to find out my turn signals still dont work.

Ya like when i hit my turn signal they dont come on. My emergencyflashers work tho so the bulbs and everything work fine. I had this same problem on my 96 A4 and i replaced the turn signalswitch and they worked fine.
Replace your Hazard Signal Relay Switch. I thinkthe part is about 20-30$ at the dealer. That happen to me last year and thats what was wrong with it. If you got a friend with the same car, switch them out and you can check it that way.

If it had something to do with the hazard signal relay switch wouldnt the hazard lights not work also???
My hazard lights work fine.
It's still probably the hazard switch. When it starts to go bad, it gets really flaky and you can't discount it as being the cause for any reason. If there's a salvage yard near you grab one there. It'll take five minutes to replace.
I cant remember but didnt Audi have a Recall for the B5 model Ignition. There was something wrong with the ignition which caused the electronics to play up like the wiper and turn signal , etc etc.
