Alright so here's the deal. I've got a 1999 A4 2.8L Quattro and the turn signals are not working. I turn the turn signal stalk left, right, but no lights turn on and I hear no clicking. I turn on the hazards and I hear nothing again. I check the fuses and I find a blown one, replace it. Turn on the hazards and I hear a pop, check the same fuse and it's blown. So what do I need to replace in order for my turn signals and hazards to work again?

I've heard a couple of things by looking around, most are saying it's either the hazard switch itself, or the flasher?? I got a flasher from autozone and it looks like a relay but I can't find where I need to get to to replace the unit, I've found the relays in the kick panel but none match the 3 prong one I have. HELP!! I need turn signals because I feel like an ******* switching lanes without signalling.

Replace the hazard switch. The switch is right behind the red triangle. Depending on the year, you may need to remove the surrounding trim piece or just the switch itself.

So I'm looking around and the switch is about 50-60 dollars. I need to remove the trim to access the switch but it's not hard since it's an aftermarket deck.
