Well as usual my feeler post was just that, a feeler and as of now nothing has come of my local Craigslist add so I made a purchase ........... []

I was never really a fan of the rear bumper that was on the car and it did not flow with the rest of the car so I found this bumper on eBay and I got it so it should be installed in about a week. I actually backed over a curb and had to repair my Kerscher rear bumper so this will fix it once and for all. I will be post the Kerscher rear bumper for sale shortly. Let me know what you think.

The bumper will obviously be painted body color and the lower inset portion will be painted black.

No, this is normal for me. I try to sell something and then when it doesn't sell right away I put more into it. I will leave the lower insert black and if the car does finally sell the new owner will enjoy a new bumper but at least I will get to enjoy it for a little while ........

Things are always changing and I do really want an RS6 but we'll see how things work out but I do really like my car a lot and it will be hard to let her go!

 

looking forward to this. I wanted to buy that lip but heard it only works on euro bumpers.. I think it's supposed to be a replica of oem votex lip. I hope it fits, should look good. it'd be cool if you molded it on..

 

Well I have a genuine Kerscher rear bumper and it was designed for a euro bumper and it fits. It is a little shorter then the US bumper by about 1/8" on either side behind the rear wheel but it fits on the bumper just fine. The company is in the United States and they have actually sold quite a few so I don't think it will be a problem but I will find out soon enough. I will test fit it when I first get it just to make sure.

Well I received my bumper today only to find out it is designed for a Euro Bumper .........

But if all works out I should have a 97/98 rear Euro bumper shortly and this could end up better than expected .....
