Default VAG oil pressure

I was wondering if anyone with VAG could check something. When you go to measuring blocks on the instrument cluster it has a readout for oil pressure. Mine says oilpr2<min when its idleing and as soon as i give it gas it says oilpr2OK. Dankhound was saying that that means my oil pressure is too low at idle but i would think i would get an oil light then.... Could someone check this for me for comparison or maybe someone knows the answer.(I was thinkingmaybe it had something to do with the rationality of the sensor, like it could check to see that thesensor was okay by it changingafteridle. So if it always stayed atOK it would know that the sensor was bad?) Thanks

Which measuring block?

I've never been able to find one.

If so, there may be instructions for a specific RPM that the pressure is supposed to be checked. Someone with a Bently will be able to help you. Unfortunatley, I am out of the country and don't have access to my CD.

There is absolutely no way you can use the VAG COM to read oil pressure, it has to be done manually. The only thing the vag com can tell you is if its below spec.

Yeah ik. In my previous post i wrote what the readout says. Its showing preasure just not as a value, only if its above or below what it should be. MY question is if it is okay that it is below spec when it is idleing.

Absolutely not, if the spec is below spec your dancing with the devil. If you have oil change reciepts take the car to the dealer, they will diagnose it and fix it for free, even if your out of waranty.

Ugh, yeah well i have the receipts for when i did the changes, not necessarily all from the previous owners. Secondly, i get the feeling that id say well when its idleing it says its below but the light isnt on, so theyll say well then its fine, they might vag it and there still gonna say the same thing.
