I have a 2001 A4 1.8T and have never used the valet key. I am leaving the car in a garage and wanted to give this to them however I thought it would not let anyone into the trunk. I have locked the back seats but once in the car you can press the unlock to unlock all the doors and it unlocks the trunk too and if you turn the valet key twice in the key hole it unlocks the trunk as well. You can't put the valet key in the lock on the trunk but it doesn't stop it from being unlocked other ways.

Am I doing something wrong? I don't see the point of locking the back seats if you can still open the trunk.

Lock you truck with your normal key. then it wont unlock with the power locks.
