Exclamation Waterpump or more serious?

Well i have a little coolant leaking from the waterpump area coming to the conclusion i need a timing done soon cause im at 155k and i believe the turbines are making the sound of a diesel at idle and that could be normal if its defected but when i drive would it make more noise and intesify with rpms or is that a sign of bad internals?

I appreciate the help guys...

im not sure of which part of that one sentence post is the problems you are having and which part is the question you are asking.

check you fan switch. it's like under the area where the WP is. also, the deisel sound is either your idle roller for the timing belt or your cam chain tensioner

If it's leaking at the pulley, accompanied by a rod knock type of sound then suspect the pump prop bearing is bad. Just replace it when you do the timing belt... Which is hopefuly soon. Yes the faster the engine speed, the faster a noisy pump will be.
