Default Weak ebrake?

hey,
So i realized a few days ago that my e-brake is super weak. I can pull it while driving and it barely even slows me down... this concerns me because thats obv how I park..

Is there anything that you know of I can do? Is it brake pads or what? I just changed rear pads, but not front.. but i dont think theyre bad yet. hmm..

Its not going to do much, its cable/rod and your real brakes are hydrolic. Hince why drifters use a 3ft handle or adapt it to be hydrolic actuated.

Pull it higher. It takes more "pull" for Audis when it comes to the e-brake compared to other cars.

no you can not, the e brakes are self adjusting. you wont ever lock up your rear wheels with the e-brake if you are going in a strait line.

the 'emergency' part is because the brake is supposed to be an emergency backup if your manual car were to pop out of gear while parked. they will slowly slow you down if your breaks fail on the road, but the e-brake isnt meant to be a full backup for your real brakes. they should have about the same braking power at 65mph as engine braking in a lower gear would.

There must be an adjustment or repair for it though. Mine used to be great and now it's shot. I'm sure there is but I haven't had time to rip into mine to adjust or fix it yet.

hmm thats weird the last two cars i had you could take the console out wear the e-brake was and it was kind of like adjusting brakes on a bike, i could adjust them so they could lock up the rear end.
