What could this noise be

So when i start my car when cold the sap comes on for about 30 - 1 min and maybe a couple of mins after that with out me moving this high pitch drill type sounds comes on for about ten seconds and cuts off. not sure what it can be. oh yeah i have a 00 1.8tm with 131,000 miles anyone with input to help me out will be greatly appreciated.

Have you gotten your car scanned yet? Maybe the faultcode will show up when you vag it.

Turbo is going into cardiac arrest. After oil circulation starts flowing better, it'll go away or be less audible. Might want to invest in a new/used turbo so your ready. Don't forget to bronze the deceased and show it proudly on your mantle next to family pictures.

lol i have place waiting for it. so its the turbo the only trouble code that i have is for the sap p4011, even though i'm not driving the car when it happens its the turbo cant be anything else

It's the secondary air pump. Just tell your neighbors it's jet tuned.
