Yeah this is on my (long) list of things to do before the next meet. My arm rest is all ripped up, and the vinyl on all 4 door inserts is floppin around. Still trying to decide what direction I wanna go with the new material though. Suede is out, but there are so many other choices...

**** YOU CAR!!!!!

My question is now this. I swapped the correct wires: 4 and 6 on the passenger side and 1 and 3 on the driver's side. I was a little surprised that I was able to utilize my 96 bulbs on the passenger side, but had to retain the 99.5 bulbs I just so happened to keep that came with the bulb holders I scored on the driver's side.

Why would the high brake stay light with the headlights activated? Why is my passenger side so dim? Nick any advice.....I know you have a '96 as well and have successfully done this. **** owning a '96.

First of all I'd like to say I'm disappointed that you went to facelift tails. Your car color is the only one that can pull off the preface and look good.

Unfortunately I have no idea why that would happen, double check everything? I swapped mine and it worked fine the first time, never ran into anything weird like that. Maybe there's a wire touching another or something like that.

I am going to double check everything tomorrow after work. I got those tail lights as a deal and figured what the hell. Does anyone know if the high brake will stay on if a bulb or bulbs in one of the tails is burnt out or missing? I cannot explain why on side is brighter than the other either.

I am also puzzled at the two sides using different bulbs. I guess I didn't get a deal after all.

Thats what I was thinkin, are you sure you didn't get the bulbs mixed up? The brake light bulbs are dual filament 35w jobs, the rear fog is a single filament 55w doohickey. (I think)

I'll check the bulbs after work. I'm especially going to take a closer look at both bulb holders. As I indicated above, the passengers side was able to retain the bulbs I had in the pre-facelift tails while the drivers side would not. I'm hopeful this won't be a big deal.
