my dad picked this up trade in from his a8 2008 A6 with the 4.2l 350hp with the nice bucket seats pretty much fully loaded 35k milliage

 

I bought a new GATES racing TIMING belt for my car off eBay for $5

it was listed as a throttle body

 

It's a belt. The seller called it a throttle body out of apparent confusion (since they look so similar). It's the most critical belt on your car. You paid $5 for it. Please tell me you're going to use it to bundle your shovels and rakes together, or you're going to cancel the sale. Please don't install it on your engine.

 

Replaced my cam chain tensioner and gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and intake cam seal. Also tried out the boost leak detector I made last night, but I couldn't tell where air was leaking from (it had/has no problems holding boost pressure).

 

Fully cleaned my car today just to pick up a friend that got in and knocked mud from his boots.

Yeah Really. Also rolled 148k today. I think I'm going to buy my car a present like a congrats for making it this far

 

Just finished laying the first layer of fiberglass. Onto fiberglass mat!
