Jeff, glad to hear you've got that over-boosting problem sorted out!

Cranked my MBC (in parallel with N75 to limit maximum boost) to 24psi - very fun On the downside my stock clutch slipped for the first time. Getting onto the freeway in 4th at about 70mph at full throttle my RPM jumped quite a bit with the clutch engaged. Thought it was a fluke; went into 5th and floored it, more slippage So, almost 136,000 miles and possibly ~280ft-lbs have forced me to bring a new clutch to the top of the priority list. 034 Motorsport 228mm clutch/flywheel package here I come (supposedly good up to 300hp)!

You forgot to charge yourself 10% for "shop supplies". I think you're in the hole now.

lol yeah i was pretty pleased with the quality/brands of the parts. continental belts, brand name parts, metal water pump impeller. I still need to pick up a coupla liters of coolant (prolly gonna go to the dealer), a new t-stat housing (not sure where I'm gonna get that) and I *might* spring for an 034 snub mount/cage. ECS has t-stat housings, but not for AWM. Blauparts sells them with their AWM TB kit, but not by themselves. Any ideas?

Does this look right? http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/x,carc...ing_Cover.html

In other news, I've been reading lots of DIY's for timing belt replacement. Is any of the hardware reusable? I read one that talked about replacing the "water pump stretch bolts" which I've never heard of. Although it would be worth mentioning that the example vehicle was an AEB.
