The S is filthy as ****. I'd wash it but they are doing construction on my street and kicking up all kinds of dirt/dust. So as of now I just looked at it today and shook my head.

hey haven't been on in a while due to needing some minor repairs on my car an feeling not too happy about the state of my vehicle.

however lately i have been a little less financially strapped, and on top of that i hit a deer but good news (and my actual contribution to this thread) i brought my baby to a garage for my repair estimate(threw insurance! yay $100 deductible!!) and it will be taking care of most/all problems with my vehicle. On top of that my mechanic is looking into getting me an S4 bumper to replace the stock bumper. I'm also looking into if they'll be able to paint my lowers when they paint my new bumper(cross your fingers hoping that i can get an S4!) and hood.

other projects and pricing out i have been doing, i have looked into rigging up a PC into my car, for now it will be connected to my in dash dvd player, but later i hope to do some custom work and replace the passenger air bag and make the "cutout" square on the dash become a hide-a-way LCD touchscreen monitor. of coarse this PC will be constantly attached to my diagnostic port to be used with vag-com at any given time. this whole project looks to be costing less then $200 depending on the monitor, mostly.

ill also be replacing all my turn signals, and brake light bulbs with LED bulbs, and lastly an HID conversion(ddm tuning i assume).

[also i have been doing some pre-guestimations on a frankenturbo kit with my 2011 tax return, but this is along time down the road, February?]

so that's my update!

That's a really good feeling, isn't it?

I think today I will pull her around the back of the hotel, and finally replace the central vac pump I picked up over a month ago...

Set a new personal record on my headlight switch. From battery disconnect, airbag and wheel removal, column disassembly, switch rebuild, reassembly, and start-up in 19 minutes

Nick, holy ****. Nice to hear of progress. As to the question of what to do with a Miata: simple, he can use it to pick up guys

Very much so, I work sales and recently took a 25% pay cut to base pay but gained 3% commission. And being the best salesperson in my district my pay has doubled. Been rapidly paying off bills and now been able to affoard my addiction. My Audi!

After the insurance claim is all finished ill start my mini-projects and take some picture of my progress. And finished product!

Eh just a working stiff. Drove 38 miles to work. On a side not though, I DID call Audi of America as my radio is in the infamous "Safe" mode. All I have to do is give them the AUZ number So this is also kind of a success story seeing as I don't have to take it to the dealer. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Dialed in my adjustable FPR to ~41psi (was at ~44psi) to raise my AFR at WOT... Previously the AFR would start around 10.5:1 and taper to 11.7:1. Now it tapers to closer to 12.5:1, very ideal (verified with Innovate Motorsports MTX-L wideband gauge/controller). So this means I have squeezed more power out without paying extra money!
