Clay barred my car the other day. Took about 3 hours but I'm very happy with the results. I used Mcguires Clay kit. Came with 2 bars, bottle of quick detailer, quick wax and a terry cloth towel for like 18 dollars.

The paint is sooo much smoother now, although I could probably do it again to get the rest of the little bits out of the clear coat.

 

Chris is such a bitch, he wouldn't even flush his own coolant.

 

Watched it being put through a wringer auto-cross and skid pad style, as my little girl did a 'street survival' course at the police training center. She had fun, and got lotsa props from many instructors ("You should really take her to Summit Point next year when she turns 18 . . . ).

The other night I went for an hour long drive to nowhere to unlock the double lock on my radio... Music again, very nice.

 

Installed a new license plate frame and air freshener. Oh yeah.

 

small update on my insurance claim,

they're offering me 5800 for my car, i owe around 5200ish after today's payment.

however the guy handling the "total loss" portion of my claim told em to take a bunch of pictures of the options and interior etc. and he'll try to up the amount they give me to be able to pay off the car and give it back to me for little or no out-of-pocket cost.

so i did, i took about 33 pictures of everything and emailed him today. we'll see what happens.

also i should also mention i've been looking into purchasing a b7, haven't found "the one" yet however.
