obviously has not looked or been outside today

I would be down for trying to do a mini-meet. Maybe we can get Uncle Jazz out too. He and I tried to meet up at the DC Auto Show last (this) year but missed each other.

Isn't it interesting that the annual upstate NY is "the" meet, and everything else is just a mini meet?

All serious, I'd love to see guys in other parts of the country get a regular meet deal going like we have here. Then we can organize so that all the meets happen the same weekend, and we all caravan to Don's house and take over, for the ultimate US meet.

I bet after that, Don gets to come back to NY. His wife will gladly gas the car and shove his *** out the door herself

 

just out of curiosity. is there such a large number of people in ny that it makes sense to have it there. i know a lot of people com from all over. maybe moving it down would help some far more southerners make it. but if theres a large group of guys up in NY then that makes sense. but i know a decent amount of member on here are in MD,VA,DC area we can make something happen.

 

Well... Meloman, tware, ImtheDevil, DevilDub, taConklin, jiggleo (he's never on), frostyflax, briesa4 (also never on), are all NY residents. Plus, Jeremy and DevilDub (AKA Bill) along with a few other people that aren't on the forums spend a lot of time making sure the meets are extremely successful. No offense to you, jon, but the Bingo meet has almost become a pilgrimage.

 

I'm one of the new guys. I'm from NY (Long Island) and looking to get to some meets, seems like theirs a lot of NY guys on here. I've had my car about a month but haven't met anyone yet. Check out my intro thread.

 

Pat, don't forget about Emil (emilgevor), Tim (Gumby), and from NJ there's Erik (ObnoxiousDrunk) and Dave (Dmaxn), Wally, and Morpheous as well, plus Corey (Blacksheep) from the Pocono area. Jon, we do have a big crew in this area and with the way the meets have developed, it has almost become the Mecca of the Rings here lol. I hope you make it up in the spring. You won't regret it. Dalers08 - definitely come up, you'll have a blast up here. There's guys near you that you can probably meet up with and caravan with for the drive up.

 

wow, i would never ever be a dick and oppose the ny meet. thats a **** ton of people in NY. I'm def making the trip up there this year. for now ill have to deal with chris and a mini meet . everyone around me who owns an audi is an idiot. id love to be around people who know whats up. NY is a beautiful place anyway i enjoy up there. Y'all should have a winter meet, how many snowboard? or ski? I'm heading up there this year for some snow sport fun it be fun to meet up with some people.
