Had the first person interested in my B5 show up last night with her boyfriend and took it for a test drive. She's looking for a car for her 16 year old son. She liked the car and is going to bring her son over tonight to see how he likes it.

I'm excited to sell it, but sad at the same time. I hope whomever buys it will take good care of her. I'd hate to see her rot away.

kiss it goodbye - a 16 year old who more than likely doesn't know what a german car entails is a recipe for destruction. not saying its not in good hands there are some 16 year olds who care but. yea say goodbye while you still can

Got the license plate lights working (contacts weren't contacting right), headlights fixed and beautiful again, and the driver's side front and rear lowers installed... Now, to see if she'll pass inspection

Holy ****, she passed the inspection, and is now registered in Texas...

To celebrate, I picked up oil change stuff (FYI, AutoZone, 5 quarts of Castrol Syntec and K&N filter for 32 bucks right now, and a 7 dollar mail in rebate...), 2 cans of SeaFoam, and some new spark plugs... She isn't due for another 1000 miles though, so I'll wait another week or two before I smoke out the neighborhood...

Put on my freshly painted valve cover, was about to do the same for my intake manifold but saw a broken breather tube to the crankcase. so i ordered one from dealership for 45 dollars. so tomorrow hopefully it comes in and i can finish my install and then for the throttle body allignment.
