Quote: Correct.
That's pretty good news, I can probably get the exhaust done for 300 some including all parts and around 550 for the chip, sound right?

Lol no it doesn't but that's a good thing. The exhaust yes, that price is definitely doable. For the chip, look a few pages into this forum for the Speedtuning group buy. They were lacking one guy to get group buy pricing of $130 for the upgrade, but even without a deal, it's around $200 from them. Add about $75 for a DV from KrautoParts.com - Your One Stop Shop For Premium LED & HID Kits - HOME and you're in business.

I'm confused about the whole cheaper
Chip thing, could you elaborate more I don't fully understand why I was quoted 550 for apr stage one

Because that's how much APR charges. Speedtuning charges a lot less.

The bluntness of that statement had me laughing.

are they both similar? i don't know a lot but as for basics, apr is the 'best' one as it doesnt 'fool' sensors etc, it actually redoes the ecu or w/e it is...

Lol I wasn't trying to be a smartass. Both companies recode the programming for a higher boost limit (with corresponding fuel and timing compensation) as well as raising redline (I think to 7000) and deleting the speed governor. APR and Giac have been around forever, and ST is relatively new. Both get you roughly the same gains and both require an upgraded DV to hold the higher boost.

It'll work fine - they hold upwards of 30psi. No sweat on a K04 setup.

Nice thanks i see that one is adjustable by a nut or something and its out of stock and like $5 more and then there is the one like a forge with replaceable springs for adjustments. Should i wait on that one to come in stock or just get the one with springs? Either way thats 50% of the cost of a forge--- winning.
