You can use either one and it'll work fine.

Thought I’d tackle my hesitation problem I’ve had under moderate acceleration for over a year no, I only get it when it’s hot and humid. Went out and got some NGK BKR7E plugs and gapped them back to .028, went for a drive and still had some mild hesitation under moderate acceleration, so went back and gapped them to .026 and now its butter smooth all through the rpm range! I am amazed at the difference a colder heat range spark plug can make.

I guess I should mention I was running NGK BCP6ET gapped to .028 before.

Quote: Lol I wasn't trying to be a smartass. Both companies recode the programming for a higher boost limit (with corresponding fuel and timing compensation) as well as raising redline (I think to 7000) and deleting the speed governor. APR and Giac have been around forever, and ST is relatively new. Both get you roughly the same gains and both require an upgraded DV to hold the higher boost.
so any of these valves? I'm assuming its worth it to just ( KrautoParts.com - Your One Stop Shop For Premium LED & HID Kits - ENGINE PARTS ) get '25mm "Adjustable" Recirculating Diverter Valve' that is currently out of stock as opposed to the other 3 on there?

ok - found this thread and posted https://www.audiforums.com/forum/b5-...1/#post1387634

Any idea on a site to order a cheap magnaflow muffler? I guess if I'm going catback, the guy I'll have do it should have the stainless steel piping to do the rest and I'm not sure if I require the resonator.

in your thread here - https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sig...4816-a-182568/

you say you use

'1999 A4 30vqm
Magnaflow 14816 muffler (2.5" in, dual 3" tips)
Vibrant perf-core resonator, 2.5" inlet/outlet
Custom catback piping, flared from stock to 2.5" at cat outlet'

Whats 30vqm again? ( big nub here )

Installed 034 Motorsport Street Density motor mounts on my B5 S4. Only had enough time to get the passenger side on. Man what a pain in the *** just to get to the top nut. Will get the driver side put on tomorrow.

Makaveli, this reminds me... after you chip, you want to re-gap your spark plugs to .028. Stock is .032.

kk

so anyone got any idea where I can get the cheapest exhaust parts I will be needing? I guess mainly the magnaflow muffler since the rest is just piping that the guy I'll have do it should have ?

oh and as for the valves as I asked earlier, the sold out one is the one I want or ? ( http://www.krautoparts.com/engine-parts )

Cheapest place I've found for exhaust components is amazon.

That 12v in the craigslist add is awful. What an abortion of a car

Ordered a new front axle for my GF's TT last night. She complained of clicking up front so I popped the wheel off last night and the inner CV joint boot ripped and puked axle grease all over the inner fender liner. It never ends!!
