Quote: Yeah for the price I couldn't pass it up. I paid less than $350 shipped to my door. Between that and the money I'll get back from selling the muffler and resonator that I was going to use, I can't complain. I don't have dial calipers but it's every bit of 2-7/16" I.D. Plenty big enough for now. I'll get some before and after vids and maybe an open DP run for ***** and giggles
I just ordered this exhaust, paid a little more, well a lot more. (stupid shipping overseas)
It won't ship until Tuesday, hopefully it will be here in about a week Sometimes I get stuff in 3-4 days, other times it takes weeks or months to get orders.

Quote: droppping my wife and daughter off the water park in town I almost ripped the front bumper off on a parking spot curb....spent about an hour making look right again
HAHA I banned my wife from driving my car for the same reason. That was before I dropped it, no way she is driving it now. She ripped the lower valance off and drove home with it hanging by one side. Now it's all scraped on one side.

It sounds pretty good. I'm pleased with it, especially for what I paid

To this:

I did the double-din facelift console and also installed a short shifter as well while I was in there. I love the shift throw length but it's crazy stiff so I need to figure out what to adjust to make it a smoother action (suggestions?) or it's gonna drive me nuts. Spent about four hours in all. Not too bad except it was hot as ***** and I'm soaked in sweat. I was looking at speaker bracket adapters but I might actually just source a set of OEM speakers and put them in and call it a day. I also need to try grinding the shift plate down a little inside the opening since my pre-facelift shift boot assembly won't snap in as it is. I just threw the alcantara boot over the opening temporarily until I get around to modifying the plate. For today though, I'm done.

just put new shocks and struts on 1998 a4, but income tax is around the corner. Could I put a turbo on this, or any suggestions on what I can do to make it faster?

That looks much better, Did you have to do any mods to the wiring for the climate control or switches?

Planedr, yes there's a little bit of wiring but nothing remotely difficult. Extend two defroster wires, add a wire to one pin on the HVAC panel connector to provide illumination, tap into an illumination source and a ground to light the cupholder and ashtray (which I didn't bother with), and you have to extend the 12v outlet wires since it moves from the vertical console back to an area near the e-brake. Very, very easy to do. I love the results - ill finish it off soon once I get to the junkyard - I need the foglight module from behind the glovebox to make those lights operational (that IS a lot of wiring), and I'll light the cupholder, fog/ESP buttons, and ashtray then.

Lukas, I gotta say I wasn't sure about the plasti-dip idea but that looks cool!
