Finished my wheelbearing R&R
I finished my wheelbearing R&R this morning. I actually got to use a DIY sticky that I did a while back!

I rebuilt the front suspension last year so the hard work of un-seizing all the bolts was done last year. It was *awesomely* easy to remove the uprights. I took them both to a local shop where they press the old ones out and new ones in for me for $45 each.
I thought about doing the press them out on the car thing but decided I'd rather just pay a little cash and save myself some grief.
*** bearings from parts geek. so far so good.
The *** bearings were well priced and came with new axle bolts AS WELL AS new nuts for the upper pinch bolts and the lower control arms.

Amazing Junk Yard Find
So Today I Went To A Different Yard And Found Two Audi's In good Condition. A '98 2.8 A4 And The Gold In The Trunk Was The Central Locking Unit Matching Mine....Snagged That ****....Next As I Intend On Leaving....I See A Matching Paint Colored A4 And I Will Be Damned If It Is A 1.8T With Non Quattro Awe Poor A4 But....I Looked At The Motor And **** I Found AEB Almost All In Tack...So You Can Guess What Next Weekend Looks Like....Going To Get That Turbo And A Few Other Parts Off It
.....So Got My Central Locking Unit for $22 Bucks

Took my roof rack, bike racks, and cargo basket off the avant. It looks weird now lol. Also discovered that not only do I have a burnt out tail light bulb, but the ****** bulb holder melted. So now I need to figure out where to get one of those. Also got my memory cards for my knock off GoPro cameras, I might try to take a video this evening if I have time.
