So far today: swapped my driver's lower seat cushion/skin (black leatherette) with a used passenger's lower seat cushion/skin. All-in-all not too bad, spent about 4 hours total, but I did manage to break a couple plastic pieces a bit. They're still function, at least.

Next up: adding FUNK button! This will be an auxiliary power switch to turn on my Nexus 7 tablet stereo system, so I don't have to put the key in to power it up (or I can push the FUNK button before turning the key off to leave the Nexus 7 powered on).

Drove 211,000 miles, no O2 problems. 1,000 miles ago the post-CAT O2 on the right loosened up and rattled. Now today, at 212,000 miles, the post-CAT O2 on the left side loosens up and rattles.

WTF?

Missed her, yet again... I'm seriously considering a B5S4 sometime in the near future as a project car...

Did the two bushings at the bottom of the RR hub carrier. I have done 15 bushings on the rear of my B5 this summer. Have just three more (upper wishbone on the LR) and my whole back suspension is rebuilt.

Yea, lots of play. The rubber was completely torn away from the that metal can. It doesn't feel any tighter at all now, but it is quiet. Any time I hit a decent bump it would pop back there. On my way home I hit some big ones just to test. Quiet.

I thought my door was cracking at the lower hinge and found the bolts were loose!? don't know why it didn't shift out of alignment, but I was very relieved to not have to weld reinforcement in there.

Nice when you fixed it. Well done. I hate noises like that.
