So true - and on a superficial note there isn't any competition between the Audi and the WRX & Evo based solely on looks...those cars are UGLY.

 

I painted my lowers today..

 

Dropped my diff and driveshaft. Waiting to drop the tranny next weekend.

 

I need to do this soon, where did you get the proper paint? Did you DIY?

I sat in it! YAY! I am going to put air in the tires and get it in the garage tonight. Then tomorrow it is getting a full professional interior detail! Seats removed and everything!

 

Tonight granted I don't get to busy at work I will be (finally) putting back on the rack faring which has been off since it got bombed. A few new stickers have been added. and she'll get a bath time permitting!

 

I got the primer, paint, and clear at autozone/advance autoparts. You might have to go to a couple different stores to get enough color. each store I went to only had about 2 Duplicolor Radiant Silvers. You Should end up using (for the whole project sides, front, back) about 4 cans. Follow the DIY on vwvortex or audizine.

Learn from my mistake though, the front and back look really bad because I rushed and sprayed the clear coat in like 82% humidity. Just wait til it's dry and light out.

I only used 600 grit sand paper, I went through about 2 packs of the 5pack ones from the autoparts store. If you have any questions email me icrabtree8203@gmail.com
