That sucks! It rained all day today. The roads are wet and I'm leaving for work in a FWD car. Its 28 out too. I might wreck tonight as well.

I KNOW RIGHT

Its all I have until I get the Quattro fixed. I have to fix/replace the transmission. I am in the middle of an interior overhaul right now. I will do the trans later. I don't need it until next winter anyway.

I just got back from the body shop, these estimates hurt the heart. Over $2000 easy for the repairs.
Be safe man

A couple days ago I replaced my crunched up driver's side rear door with a crispy one I bought for cheap off a shifty Craigslist character in NJ - Took both doors apart so I could use the good locks/windows/interior panel/speaker (the new door was non-Bose and didn't even have a speaker) from my old door and the good bodywork of the new door. It was surprisingly easy (40 minute job) given that I'd never taken a door off a vehicle before, let alone cannibalizing two doors with different flaws to create one superdoor.
