Hey guys, slight problem with my a4, ok, so when I start it up theres a symbol on the dash showing me a picture of a temperature gauge and below it there is water flowing. It beeps every so often and because I don't have the original manual, I don't know whats wrong with it. The wierdest this is though, my temperature gauge, above the error message display, is perfectly situated in the middle of hot and cold. So, could someone tell me how to stop the dash from displaying this picture?

 

ok, I figured out the problem by searching for the manual online, it turns out I have a problem with my coolant temperature and level, now Im not quite sure what the source of the problem would be, and what I have to replace.

Really, Phil? Check the fluid level? There's no way THAT could be the problem... hahaha!

 

There's a plug on the bottom of the expansion tank, make sure its plugged in. I left mine unplugged one time after an oil change and thats the warning light i saw as well.
