Default What is this hose?

I found a boost leak in this hose and just want to know what its for? It goes into the side of the intake manifold and then i don't know where to.

Definitely go with the silicone version. I've replaced most of the PCV hoses on my car twice. Once with OEM rubber or plastic that just broke again later, and again with silicone. Don't waste your time.

See if you can replace the PCV valve at the same time, too. If the PCV valve is broken that could also be a cause of an elevated idle.
