I recently changed my drivers door as it was smashed in pretty far. I hadnt gotten a chance to pull out the old locking mechinism and handle before the landlord came by one morning while i was sleeping(work night shift).

How should i go about getting my drivers door to have the correct lock now? Would it be dealer related item or would i need to swap the ignition and locks with a new set of keys?

 

The handles come out of each door, if you have the key to the one you want to use your fine.

 

nope i dont have them anymore the landlord came by and tossed em befor i had a chance to strip the door of the handle and locking mechinism or the window motor and glass.

 

well do you unlock you door with the key in it or the FOB

 

I unlock it now from the passenger door, the remote unlock doesnt seem to work now either since i changed the door, though it still locks with the remote.
